Assistant Administrator (Apprentice)
Starting salary: National Minimum Wage in relation to age.
We are looking to appoint an Assistant Administrator (Apprentice) to join our busy administration department. The job will include general office duties such as data entry, typing, filing, photocopying etc.
Key repsonsibilities include:
- To maintain computerised and paper-derived data of learner and employer information
- To develop sound knowledge of an expertise in the operation of MAYTAS and LLWR databases
- To check and audit, in accordance with Administration, Audit, Claims, Database Procedures, all starts in learning and finishing documentation, and ensure it is correct and in compliance prior to entry into MAYTAS and LLWR
- To be available for general office routine tasks as necessary
- To correctly maintain the filing systems for all Company-related documentation
- To assist the Administration Manager in auditing of all documentation relating to the Company’s business

Ideally you will:
- Be able to communicate fluently in both Welsh and English
- Have proven oral and written communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and neatness
- Have evidence of well-developed I.T, Administration and record keeping skills
- Have evidence of effective planning, organising and time management skills
- Have evidence of effective problem solving and negotiating skills
- Be able to co-operate with other team members and can also work without supervision
- Be able to communicate with others confidently and assertively both orally and in writing
- Have a degree of tenacity in order to complete tasks on time and to standard and have a level of resilience to cope with stretching tasks and occasional difficult people
- Have the ability to use initiative and discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Full training will be given to the successful candidate with the opportunity to complete an NVQ Diploma in Business Administration.
